The latest release from Tia concentrates on system improvements that directly benefit the Tia Enterprise end user, making daily working faster and easier. A few of the updates are listed below, if you would like to know more about our latest updates then please get in touch.
Incorrect character entries (e.g. a special character) when searching by surname, now display no results, rather than all entries, thus reducing the load time for obvious errors.
Previously, when selecting from a list of values, the type used to display values was designed to show approximately 15 values. However, when listing object risks for example, the number of values might well significantly exceed 15.
A new type has been implemented: XLA_REFERENCE(BIG) in the Object section of the UI Configuration page to support the longer lists.
Additional flex fields on the Object table
To support customers with extensive customization needs, the Object table has been extended with 60 new char fields, increasing the total number from 120 to 180 flex fields.
This means that customers have additional possibilities to customize objects and therefore also create insurance products tailored to specific needs.
Mandatory to print documents for midterm adjustment
When a policy is issued, documents are automatically created for the handler to print. When a midterm adjustment is subsequently created on the policy, existing documents for print are available in the Existing policy document requests section. The handler can choose to print the documents or to cancel them.
Based on customer feedback, a change has been implemented to ensure that documents which must be printed cannot be cancelled.
Additional policy administration business events
A total of 15 new policy administration business events have been added, including policy updated, policy renewed, MTA created, and quote created.
These new events improve the possibilities for event-based automation of processes for policies, quotes and midterm adjustments.
Create policy relations without triggering an MTA
The Policy Overview page displays policies also for co-policy holders when the co-policy holder is linked as a relation, using the Relation button on Policy Overview.
When a relation is added to a policy which is already in force, this could previously only be done as part of a midterm adjustment (MTA).
With this release, a relation can be added outside an MTA transaction. This change was implemented based on customer feedback which indicated that in some processes relations are not created when a policy is issued but is added later e.g. when a Claim is filed. So a policy-party relation can now be added and removed without triggering an MTA
We have also fixed a few bugs and things that weren’t quite working as they should have been. That’s only possible with your feedback, so please continue to let us know about the performance of your Tia installation.
