As said before, we continue to monitor and follow the advice of the respective governments where we have office locations and as this is changing on a regular basis, we now have some movement back towards “normal” at some of our office locations. As you may be involved in projects or conversations with Tia teams from all around the world, we have set out below the current advice we are following for each country. If you have any specific questions about this, or how we are working, then please reach out to us.
Denmark In our last update we shared that our Danish offices (including the head office) were slowly opening and that we could have a limited number of people in the office. The big change from then until now, is that the recommended distance to keep between people has changed from 2m to 1m, and so this has enabled our offices to open fully again. Obviously, we still have the increased cleaning and hygiene measures in place, and everybody has to keep their distance from each other, including with spaced out seating at lunch times etc. but we are now fully back and working from the office. We can now welcome external guests once again into the offices and we can also go out to external meetings as well. There is still no business travel at the moment though.
Summary: No travel, but face to face meetings have commenced again “locally”. Most employees are now back in the office and all Danish offices are fully open.
South Africa In South Africa, the Tia office and all of our customer sites remain closed. Although there has been a slight easing of some of the restrictions on the society in general, it appears that we are still some time away from returning to the office.
Summary: No travel or face to face meetings and all employees working remotely.
Lithuania In Lithuania there has also been a gradual opening of the society. Our Vilnius office reopened two weeks ago, and we are gradually allowing staff to come back (slowly increasing the numbers each week) in line with government guidance. We are, as yet not allowing external guests into the office and we are not engaging in “face to face” external meetings.
Summary: No travel or face to face meetings, some employees have returned to the office and some still working from home.
